Our Team

The long-standing Pre-School Manager, Lois Patrick, brings a wealth of experience to the curriculum planning and support of the staff team.

The pre-school staffing team are well established and highly experienced. They regularly update their own skills through peer review and training. Staff are allocated to classes so that they can get to know the children and come alongside the children on their learning journey.

The pre-school also offers a foundational step into the profession by hosting a placement to those studying an Early Years Childcare Qualification at a local College.

As a Charity we are run by a Committee of parent volunteers who are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting and meet termly to discuss and make decisions on pre-school matters. They also provide advice to the management group, and support and celebrate the staff.

The roles on the Committee include Trustee roles of Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer and non-Trustee Committee Member roles. All our Committee are DBS checked and safeguarding trained. Contact the Committee on chair@oatlandspreschool.org.

Working together our team focus their energies and attentions on ensuring that the children always remain at the centre of all that is done.
